Time Flies!

Can you believe it? First semester is almost over and Christmas holidays are quickly approaching! I am very glad that I have had the opportunity to meet so many people who share the same goals and outlooks as me, as well as learn many new techniques and skills that I can use in my nursing practice. I am extremely excited about clinical next semester, and I can't wait to gain some experience working in a nursing home. Practicum class has been very interesting, especially when I get the opportunity to work with the simulation dummies. However, the dummies still lack many human traits, which is why I am anticipating working in a real hospital setting with real people because I know it will be a much different experience. The only aspect I am not looking forward to next semester is getting up very early and having to drive for half an hour, but I know clinical will be well worth it! I can't wait to see what the rest of the semester has to offer, and I am looking forward to Christmas holidays!
