Technology is helping when it comes to overcoming barriers in health care. Technology is taking over many health care institutions and alleviating a lot of the workloads and stress that nurses are forced to deal with. Many machines now have the ability to take vital signs, document results, communicate with other physicians, display charts, etc. This is giving nurses some “down time” to relax a bit because they do not have to take on as much responsibility and perform as many tasks as they had to previously. Also, technological advancements have been able to diagnose health problems in babies before they are even born, or diagnose diseases early so that they can hopefully be treated before they become severe. With technology advancing so rapidly who knows what will happen next!
